The Babylon Whackers are a UK Punk group that blends 2-Tone ska, dub and reggae. They formed in 2007 in Chelmsford, Essex UK. Influences cited include Rancid, The Clash, The Specials, Hepcat, Max Romeo and Lee 'Scratch' Perry.

History

In the summer of 2007, The Filaments joined forces with vocalists Majah Tunder and Babar Luck (previously of King Prawn) to record an album under the name The Babylon Whackers - expressing their love of 2-Tone ska and heavy dub reggae.

Their debut album 'Happy Days With...' was released in 2008 through Rebel Alliance.
